All silver color aluminum earrings can be worn water: shower, pool, or ocean. You will not damage the earring. Earrings may become dull after time from the build-up of hair products suntan lotion. Place dish detergent in hot water and soak earrings for 30 seconds, rinse with hot water, then pat dry.

As a result of a Gold layer placed on top of the aluminum, these earrings should not be worn in any type of water, including the shower, ocean, or pool. Wipe with a soft damp cloth.

An earring back should be worn at all times unless you squeeze the back of the earring as tightly as possible to prevent the earring from slipping out while wearing.
