Earrings as Unique and Bold as You
The Aluminum designs are surprisingly lightweight as a result, women are able to wear big, bold and dramatic earrings without them weighing heavy on their earlobes. Many styles are made in three (3) sizes: small, medium and large. What’s unique about designing the Aluminum earrings is one design can turn into another and a mistake have become a new popular designed.
The Inspiration
After showing interest; I was taught how to make the G-Clef (music note) earring with a thick wire by an artist named Sophia Coffee Lauren. I incorporated the wire into the techniques I was learning at the Fashion Institute of technology (FIT); using stones and beads. Adding the thicker wire allowed me to create bigger, bolder pieces. I began giving my creations to my sister, daughters, and friends; and to my surprise; women wanted to purchase my creations off of their ears. The Aluminum Collection was officially started in 2010.
